2 Tim 1:6&7 Wherefore, I put thee in remembrance that though stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
From the above passage, Paul talks about the gifts that are already in Timothy, its inherent.
But it looks like even though these gifts were in timothy, there were not in manifestation. Paul was admonishing Timothy to stir these gifts to use!
Like Timothy, every spirit filled believer has this same gift in them! Glory to God! Power, love and a sound mind. The word power is the Greek word “Dunamis”, which is defined as God’s power, might and strength and ability to produce the miraculous. Glory to God!!
It means that if you are spirit filled, inherent in you is God’s ability to produce the miraculous and dynamic change everywhere you go. But you must stir them to use like timothy and one of the primary ways to steer these gifts to action is to spend extensive time daily praying in tongues.
God’s power house in you; Release them now by praying in the Holy Ghost!
Jude 20: “but you beloved, build yourself up (founded) on your most holy faith (make progress, rise like an edifice, higher and higher) praying in the Holy Ghost.”
Make progress now; release that power, praying in the Holy Ghost.
