2kings 3:27
“then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land”
In the preceding story before verse, God himself told Israel and Judah that they will utterly destroy this nation. But something dramatic happened in the above passage when the king offered his only son.
God himself became angry with everything that was against this man. You see, the blood invokes spiritual force based on the life force of the blood involved, and, human blood is the highest and strongest blood line on earth, because man Is the prime of creation on earth.
This story is the reason God had to look for the highest blood line for his people that cannot be matched by any other blood, so he prepared His own blood in Christ, Acts 20:28 – “take heed therefore unto yourself and to all the flock, over the which the holy ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with His own blood”. So that by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for His people, no other blood can compare. Glory to God!
But you see, every time you make blood sacrifice to God, he becomes angry with whatever is against you. In Exodus 12, when the Passover lamb was killed and the blood offered, God was angry with Egypt and all that was against Israel, that night there was a great cry in Egypt.
When Elijah offered the blood sacrifice upon mount Camel, four hundred (400) prophets of Baal died. I want you to know now, that because of the blood of Jesus offered for you, God is angry with everything against you. God is right now angry with poverty, lack, failure, shame, reproach, sin and death in your life.
